A high performance hydraulic actuation system requires a high performance Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU). Adaract’s direct-drive pumps, miniature piston accumulators, and micro hydraulic valves provide compact, quiet, and efficient solutions for hydraulic power and energy storage.
Combine Adaract actuators with our HPUs for an easily implementable actuation system that only requires a battery or power source to access the strength of hydraulics.
Innovative Engineering
Direct Drive Pumps
Adaract’s patent-pending direct-drive pumps provide quiet, efficient fluid power in a compact package. Able to run directly off of 12, 24, or 48 volt power, these pumps are easy to integrate into pre-existing systems. Continuous power outputs range from 50 - 600 watts for standard units. Pumps provide up to 3,000 psi.
Miniature Piston Accumulators
Adaract’s miniature piston accumulators, with volumes as low 0.25 in3, provide lightweight, compact hydraulic energy storage for small hydraulic systems. The accumulators utilize low stiction seals to provide high speed energy absorption and discharge.
Micro Hydraulic Valves
Adaract has developed a number of miniature hydraulic valves, including variable recruitment valves, directional control valves, and pressure control valves with integrated pressure sensing and feedback control. Directional and pressure control valves, along with relief valves, can be integrated into HPUs with minimal increases in weight and volume.
